Beginners, novices and experts will all agree that R.B. Meiser makes amazing flyrods. You won’t find them in glossy magazine ads or on flyshop racks. Bob chooses word of mouth to sell them and these rods sell themselves. To top it all off the rods have a fit and finish second to none. Built in a small shop in Medford Oregon, the rods are offered as full custom or as prebuilt shop rods. Being able to talk directly to the person who is building your rod is the only way to get exactly what you need and want.
If you need an all around two hander, Bob has it. Want to target a specific species on a specific river? Bob has a rod for you. With 3 lines of rods (classic, skagit and scandanavian) in dozens of lengths and weights there are literally a hundred different rods to choose from. Bob also helped pioneer the switch rod and has plenty of choices in this rod category as well. Meiser now offers fly lines and reels, fine tuned for his rods but able to be used on any rod you may own.
